DAY 1: RAFTING IN THE CANYON
The Lao Canyon is a breathtaking natural spectacle now made famous by rafting. It is the perfect adventure for those who like to enjoy themselves in total harmony with nature, always guided by our professionals in total safety. Here we will travel the most impressive stretch of the Lao River, a rocky canyon almost 12 km long. The marine fossils on the rock walls will surprise you. Difficulty: Grade ll-lll+, fun with challenging passages. What to bring: swimming costume, thermal jersey or fleece (in case of cold weather), a dry change of clothes and a shower kit. Free lunch. The rest of the afternoon is free to visit the city of Cosenza on your own. Free dinner and overnight stay on request.
DAY 2: TREKKING IN THE GARDEN OF THE GODS
Our itinerary begins at Colle Impiso and then reaches the Piani di Pollino, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the area's main peaks, all over 2000 metres high: Monte Pollino, Serra Dolcedorme, Serra del Prete, Serra delle Ciavole and Serra di Crispo. Crossing the plateaus, whose flowering can be admired especially in the spring season, you will reach a group of Loricate Pines that, like sentinels, will announce your arrival in the Garden of the Gods, the most fascinating place in the Pollino Park. BRING: suitable clothing, rain jacket, sunglasses, sun hat and sunscreen, hiking shoes, water bottle, packed lunch and dry change of clothes. Rest of the day free. Free dinner and overnight stay on request.
