Day 1: Arrival in Milan
Welcome to Milan, the first stop of our vacation.Here you’ll meet your tour leader (who
speaks italian, english and spanish) and your fellow travelers. After dropping your bags
at the hotel you can enjoy an aperitif on the Navigli and dive in the lively and charming
atmosphere of the place, one of the favorite activities of the italians (this is an optional
and paid activity). Finally, enjoy local specialties in the restaurant of your choice.
Day 2: Lake Garda
After a good breakfast at the hotel you'll go to Lake Garda right away. Explore the
natural beauty of Sirmione and its surroundings. Optionally, you can relax with a boat
trip (optional and paid activity, influenced by the weather). At dinner you will enjoy local
flavors at a local restaurant.
Day 3: Venice
After a good breakfast at the hotel you will leave Sirmione to reach Venice. Upon arrival in
the beautiful lagoon, after a short stop at the hotel, you will discover the beauty of the city
with a guided tour through the canals, bridges and iconic squares. End the day with a typical
Venetian dinner.
Day 4: Murano, Burano and Florence
Start the day with a good breakfast at the hotel and get ready to visit Murano and Burano.
You will walk among the colorful buildings of the islands and admire the works that are the
result of the ancient art of glassmaking. After a free lunch we will depart for Florence. Upon
arriving at our destination we will make a stop at the hotel. We’ll end the day with a relaxing
evening stroll through the historic streets and monuments before dinner.
Day 5: Pisa and Florence
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel you will reach Pisa to admire the beauty of the
Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. Back in Florence, you'll decide whether to visit the
Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's wonderful David (optional and paid activity),
or let the liveliness of Florence's alleyways carry you away while you’re searching for a
restaurant for dinner.
Day 6: Florence and the Uffizi
Have a light breakfast this morning as you will explore the local markets, where you’ll get to
know typical Florentinian products and you’ll taste local wine and enjoy a light lunch
with typical products of Tuscany. The ones who really want to discover the art and the
beauty of Florence can continue the day with a guided tour of the Uffizi, where a
certificate guide tour will lead you through one of the most important art galleries in the
world (optional and paid activity). End the day at a typical restaurant and be carried away
by the local flavors.
Day 7: Siena and Rome
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the south of Tuscany and the towers of San
Gimignano. At noon we will stop near Siena, where you will learn how to prepare traditional
Tuscan dishes with a cooking class in a beautiful country house. Then, we will go
towards Rome, where we will make a stop at the hotel before a traditional Roman dinner.
Day 8: Rome
A good breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore the highlights of Rome. A
certificate tour guide will lead you through the city's main monuments, such as the
Colosseum, the Palatine Hill and the Imperial Forums (optional and paid activity). Finally,
relax with a traditional dinner.
Day 9: Vatican City and Amalfi
After a hearty hotel breakfast you will have the opportunity to visit the Vatican Museums,
one of the most known and visited places of the world. With our guided tour you’ll
visit the Museums and the Sistine Chapel (optional and paid activity). In the early
afternoon we will leave for Amalfi. Drop your bags at the hotel and enjoy dinner at a typical
restaurant.
Day 10: Capri and Anacapri
A good breakfast at the hotel to get the day off to a good start. Don’t miss the excursion to
one of the natural beauties of Italy, the islands of Capri and Anacapri. A boat will lead
you to the island famous for its cliffs and the VIPS who choose this destination every
year for their holidays. You will see the crystal-clear sea turn deep blue (optional and
paid experience). End the day with a pizza experience in a local restaurant.
Day 11: Pompeii and Cooking Class
Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready to visit Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried by
a violent eruption of volcano Vesuvius in 79 AD. Pompei is the symbol of the Republic
and Roman art. With the guided tour you’ll get to walk on the ancient streets, discover
mosaics and the hot stories that were the everyday life of Pompei twenty centuries
ago (optional and paid activity). After the guided tour, you'll learn how to prepare local
specialties with an experienced cook, who will tell you the secrets of Neappolitan
cuisine. Enjoy your culinary work with your fellow travelers.
Day 12: Final farewells and departure
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and free time before departure. Have a safe journey!
