Day 1: Arrival and meeting with the group
Welcome to this discovery tour of Tuscany. Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel (you can easily reach him by booking an optional transfer service). After the accommodation in hotel you will have some time to take a first look at the city, follow your tour leader's advice and relax after the trip.
Day 2: Florence
A good breakfast at the hotel and then a nice city tour with a certified guide to discover the main monuments of Florence, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria. Afterwards you have some free time to choose where best to have lunch.In the afternoon you can admire the works of art in one of the world's most famous museums, the Uffizi, with your expert guide. Finally you can end the day with a delicious dinner in a typical Florentine restaurant.
Day 3: Food & Wine Tour and Accademia
After breakfast at the hotel, set out to discover typical Florentine flavors through a food and wine tour with lunch included. You will discover with your guide all the traditional flavors of Tuscany, taste Chianti wine and end the morning with the lunch. Then it's time for a visit to the Academy of Fine Arts where you can admire Michelangelo's David and other medieval and Renaissance works, but not only that, also the world's most important Stradivari violin. Finally, round off the day with an organised dinner in a traditional restaurant.
Day 4: Tuscany Wine and Hills
After the breakfast at the hotel, you are ready for an excursion into the Tuscan hills, where you also have the opportunity to visit wineries and have a wine tasting. We will discover the Val d'Orcia area, its enchanting villages and green hills. And as a final touch, a cooking class! Take part in a cooking class in a vineyard and then enjoy a dinner prepared with local products.
Day 5: Pisa and Lucca
Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then visit the leaning tower of Pisa where you can take the iconic photograph and then continue to stroll through the medieval walls of Lucca. On your return to Florence you will have free time to explore the city at your leisure. Finally you can savor the specialties of Tuscan cuisine with a traditional dinner.
Day 6: Cinque Terre (April-September) or Siena and San Gimignano (October-March)
As always, a delicious breakfast at the hotel to start the day: set off for the Cinque Terre, these enchanting villages on the Ligurian coast that have become famous for their colourful houses and the sea. Grab a spritz on the pier or eat a pasta al pesto and you will feel truly Italian.
Day 7: Departure
After your last breakfast at the hotel you will have time to say goodbye to the group and enjoy your last moments in Florence. Finally, a (not included) transfer to the airport is available for you.
