DAY 1: DISCOVERING ASSISI
Welcome to Assisi. Meet your guide early in the morning and visit the ancient Roman ruins of the local amphitheatre. Through narrow alleys and medieval squares, you will reach the Cathedral of San Rufino and the Basilica of Santa Chiara. From there, you will reach the city's main square, Piazza del Comune. In the square, you will see one of the best preserved Roman temples in Italy - the Temple of Minerva. The morning will then head to the Basilica di San Francesco, world famous for its 13th-14th century frescoes. A dress code is required for access to selected places of worship and museums. Shorts or sleeveless tops are not allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for men and women. The tour will end in the afternoon and you will have free time to stroll through the streets of the centre and taste the typical torta al testo: a kind of focaccia that owes its name to the cast-iron dish, the 'testo', on which the dough was cooked.

DAY 2: TRUFFLE HUNTING
Truffle hunting in Umbria is an ancient tradition. Umbria produces the largest number of black truffles in Italy, the quality of which is famous throughout the world. The truffle region of Umbria is also called the 'Black Diamonds' as truffle is the 'king' of the table. Participating in this incredible experience gives us the opportunity to learn more about the Truffle, and to live at one with nature in contact with the truffle hunters' dogs, who are extraordinary! We will take advantage of our guide, assisted by an incomparable four-legged explorer, to learn the secrets of this noble tuber through a nature trail of great beauty.
