This expansive complex houses some of Italy's most important art, from paintings and sculptures to tapestries and classical antiquities. Connected by miles of corridors, the Vatican Museums feature the Pinacoteca, Egyptian Museum, Gallery of Tapestries, Pius-Clementine Museum, and Gallery of Maps. Don't miss the crown jewels - the glorious Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo's masterpieces, and the Raphael Rooms with their 16th-century frescoes. DAY 5: POSITANO & AMALFI (OVERNIGHT IN SORRENTO AREA)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, the choice is yours—to leisurely discover the city at your own pace or go on an adventure to the Amalfi Coast, known as one of Europe's most spectacular coastlines. Your overnight stay in the Sorrento area.

Consider the following suggested itinerary to make the most of your day: Explore the iconic towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, and spoil yourself with the Amalfi Coast drive—an experience often hailed as the world's most beautiful and thrilling sightseeing road. Positano, a true paradise, presents itself vertically with a labyrinth of streets, alleys, and shops showcasing the globally celebrated Positano fashions. The town center hosts the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta, adorned with a large dome tiled in majolica and housing precious works like polychrome marble altars.

In Positano, losing yourself in its gorgeous streets is a joy in itself. Explore without a fixed destination to fully experience the town's beauty—the streets, visit quaint shops, dine in delightful restaurants, and admire the monuments, churches, and beaches. Amalfi, with its picturesque alleys and stairways, overlooks the sea, reflecting the extraordinary colors of the incredible landscape. Dominated by the majestic Cathedral dedicated to Sant'Andrea (St. Andrew), Amalfi proudly displays numerous traces of its glorious past as a Maritime Republic. Ravello, another treasure along the coast, is an elegant village dipped in greenery, adorned with luxurious villas. Globally known for its Festival, held in the garden of Villa Rufolo, Ravello offers an unforgettable experience of great music. The heart of Ravello is personified by Piazza Vescovado, framed by the architectural beauty of Palazzo Rufolo and the Cathedral, featuring a magnificent portal crafted with innovative mold technique and a towering 10-foot-high bell tower.

DAY 6: CAPRI (OVERNIGHT IN SORRENTO AREA)

Breakfast at your hotel. Today are free to relax and explore the city at your own pace or start on an exciting adventure to the picturesque island of Capri. Your overnight stay in the Sorrento area.

Suggested itinerary: Feel the refreshing Mediterranean breeze as you go on a boat journey to the captivating island of Capri. A visit to Sorrento wouldn't be complete without a day on this evocative island. Cruise across the Bay of Naples to start an unforgettable day. Depart for Capri, sailing along the stunning Sorrento Coast. Upon arrival in Capri, enjoy a boat tour around the island, offering the chance to admire the beauty of the Marvellous Grotto, the White Grotto, and the Green Grotto. Along the way, take in the sights of the Natural Arch, Villa Curzio Malaparte, the Faraglioni rocks, and the Lighthouse of Punta Carena. Arrive at Marina Grande in Capri, where you'll have 5/6 hours of free time to explore the island.

Comfortable shoes and cameras are recommended for this day of exploration. As the day comes to an end, return to the Sorrento area for a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 7: POMPEII & CASERTA (DRIVE TO ROME)

Breakfast at your hotel. Today, you're in for a treat as you go on a drive to Rome, with the option to explore the sites of Pompeii and Caserta along the way. Consider this suggested itinerary: Begin by driving to the ancient city of Pompeii, a place frozen in time by the eruption of the mighty Vesuvius. Walk through the ancient "cardini" and "decumani," exploring the remains of Roman prosperity. Admire the baths, streets, bakeries, and forums that once buzzed with daily life, and stare at the preserved frescoes gracing the fine Villas. Unearth the customs and traditions of the Ancient Romans as you dip yourself in this archaeological miracle. In the afternoon, set your sights on Caserta to visit The Royal Palace of Caserta—an architectural site legitimated by Charles of Bourbon in the 18th century. As the largest royal residence globally, it was rightfully declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Continue your drive to Rome. Arrive in Rome for an overnight stay.
