San Gimignano

Located along the Via Francigena, This small town is settled along Via Francigena and was urbanized within the 12th and 13th centuries, all of this, thanks to its noble natives. The inhabitants of this city established tower houses for their living, and their main motive was the symbol of power and prosperity. Upon all the 70 that were built back then, only 14 of them remain nowadays, even though a small number of them, they stand strong and give the village glory, being the most beautiful village of Italy.
