Departing from Florence, you'll reach Pisa.

If you take Tram T1 (Tramvia Leonardo), you can easily reach the meeting point. Take Tram T1 in the direction of Villa Costanza and get off at the terminus). It will take about 20 minutes from the main station in Florence but you will avoid all the traffic. • The tour in French, Chinese or Portuguese is only confirmed with a minimum participation of 4 people. In case the minimum is not reached, the tour will be guaranteed in English. • The guided tour of Siena will only be guaranteed in English and Spanish.

We really enjoyed visiting each of the locations but wonder whether a lot of the information we received en-route could have been given as a printed hand-out or on-line, including more historical details. Listening to three separate translations was a distraction from the experience. We felt sorry for Emma and Patricia who spent most of the trip translating. Lovely friendly and enthusiastic guides and brilliant driver Michelle, made it an unforgettable day.

This was a fun day trip. It was nice to see the rolling hills of Tuscany. The bus was reasonably comfortable and our trip leader was knowledgeable. The winery visit was fantastic and delicious and San Gimignano is so cute! Only negatives were 1) amount of time on bus vs at each location. Pisa was the right amount of time, but the other stops could have used more. Even the winery experience didn't leave enough time to actually shop what we tasted. 2) or walking guide in Siena was not good. We couldn't really make out what she was saying, and with such limited time there, we actually decided to break off early and wander on our own, which was better.
