Goditi un tour di un'intera giornata dei villaggi e delle regioni vinicole della Toscana da Siena e viaggia nel cuore della bellissima campagna toscana. Visita la città di San Gimignano, la regione vinicola del Chianti e la fortezza di Montalcino.
La prima parte della nostra giornata sarà dedicata al territorio di Siena e inizierà con la visita di San Gimignano, la città dalle cento torri, che è anche patrimonio naturale e culturale mondiale dell'UNESCO. Il nostro accompagnatore vi fornirà tutte le informazioni necessarie per godervi il vostro tempo libero nel centro storico della città, dove troverete negozi di artigianato locale e palazzi millenari. San Gimignano è anche la culla della Vernaccia, un vino bianco prodotto esclusivamente qui, famoso per la sua alta qualità e anche per essere stato il primo vino DOCG italiano. Dopo una breve visita ci rilasseremo in una cantina del Chianti per un pranzo a base di salumi, formaggi e altri prodotti locali, accompagnati da una degustazione di vini del Chianti. La nostra giornata continua con un viaggio in Val d'Orcia, un altro gioiello nel territorio toscano e patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO dal 2004. Viaggeremo verso Montalcino, che dalla sua collina domina i 1500 ettari di vigneti del Brunello che hanno contribuito a rendere l'area di fama mondiale. La nostra ultima tappa sarà in una cantina locale dove degusteremo il famoso Brunello di Montalcino, che trova il suo posto tra i primi vini DOCG italiani. Visiteremo la cantina e assaggeremo anche i prodotti tipici locali.

First thing in the morning, we were pleasantly greeted on time by the warm and friendly driver-guide, Vincenzo. From that moment on, the tour was both educational and absolute fun. The nature around us on this rare sunny December day made it the best experience. My companions — a doctor-lawyer couple from Brazil and a cyber-security couple from the western end of Pennsylvania — were amazing company all the way from start to finish. Dr. Alex was particularly fun to spend the day with, both for his humility and his sense of humour. Vincenzo made sure that we had the perfect day with a great balance of informative conversations, serene walks amidst nature and the monumental towns of San Gimignano and Montelcino, invigorating wine tasting at each of the two wineries we spent time at, and a lovely lunch at an amazing restaurant set among the Chianti vineyards. All in all, a great experience worth every penny. Thank you, Tour Italy’s Mimin, Pamela, Marietta and the rest of the gang!

Unreal. This was an unbelievable trip! Everything we saw was just breathtaking. The views were spectacular. We had a lot of free time to roam around and see each part. Th guide was very accommodating and even shifted few things to ensure we get the best views before the sun went down.
