  We are thrilled with our private Brunello wine tour experience! My husband and I booked it spontaneously while in Italy, without much research. We wanted to explore Tuscany from Florence, but we didn’t like the idea of joining a crowded bus tour. This experience was a rare splurge for us and something we’d never done before. We found it online two days before and decided to take a chance. We were reassured by the TripAdvisor certifications and positive reviews, but we still felt nervous. We had nothing to worry about! Our driver, Paolo, picked us up at our hotel with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. He made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. He drove us for 2 hours to Montalcino, sharing interesting facts about the countryside, wine, and history along the way. He also gave us enough quiet time to enjoy the views. He stopped for some unexpected photo opportunities and coffee in a charming hilltop village, as well as the scheduled visit to the historic abbey and town of Montalcino. Paolo was a wonderful host and guide throughout the whole day. The two wine experiences were amazing too. They showed us different sizes and styles of winemaking. Both winery teams gave us personalized tours of their facilities, vineyards, and their vision of farming, winemaking, and business. Lunch was delicious and served at one of the hilltop estates with stunning views. This was an exceptional experience and one of the highlights of our vacation. We are so glad we discovered this gem.

  Marco was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We truly enjoyed our day in the beautiful Tuscan wine country!
