Goditi un tour di un'intera giornata dei villaggi e delle regioni vinicole della Toscana da Siena e viaggia nel cuore della bellissima campagna toscana. Visita la città di San Gimignano, la regione vinicola del Chianti e la fortezza di Montalcino.

La prima parte della nostra giornata sarà dedicata al territorio di Siena e inizierà con la visita di San Gimignano, la città dalle cento torri, che è anche patrimonio naturale e culturale mondiale dell'UNESCO. Il nostro accompagnatore vi fornirà tutte le informazioni necessarie per godervi il vostro tempo libero nel centro storico della città, dove troverete negozi di artigianato locale e palazzi millenari. San Gimignano è anche la culla della Vernaccia, un vino bianco prodotto esclusivamente qui, famoso per la sua alta qualità e anche per essere stato il primo vino DOCG italiano. Dopo una breve visita ci rilasseremo in una cantina del Chianti per un pranzo opzionale a base di salumi, formaggi e altri prodotti locali, accompagnati da una degustazione di vini del Chianti. La nostra giornata continua con un viaggio in Val d'Orcia, un altro gioiello nel territorio toscano e patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO dal 2004. Viaggeremo verso Montalcino, che dalla sua collina domina i 1500 ettari di vigneti del Brunello che hanno contribuito a rendere l'area di fama mondiale. La nostra ultima tappa sarà in una cantina locale dove degusteremo il famoso Brunello di Montalcino, che trova il suo posto tra i primi vini DOCG italiani. Visiteremo la cantina e assaggeremo anche i prodotti tipici locali.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this tour company. They are highly organized and efficient. The driver Vincenzo was a treat! So knowledgeable and kind and informative and funny! The small van size made for a very intimate experience. We left Siena and went to San Gimignano, Buonconvento (an unscheduled stop we had plenty of time for), two wineries (Poggio ai Laghi and Piombaia - both exceptional for reasons), and Montalcino. Just a fabulous experience! Would highly recommend this tour company!

It was a terrific experience - a great day exploring parts of Tuscany with our driver and guide Ganti and four other co-travelers. The morning stop at St. Gimignano was enjoyable though a little long because we got there early. Lunch at the winery was the highlight of the day - a fabulous private room among the barrels and bottles with our own guide Bledard who gave us a terrific wine experience with wonderful Chiantis. The food was great too. Then, we visited another winery that showcased the Rosso and Brunello Montalcinos - walked down to the underground cellar which was very cool and then tasted wines with bread and olive oil and vinegar. Our last stop was the town of Montalcino - lovely fort and a nice brief visit before heading home. Our driver and guide was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The only drawback was the minivan - in the first one the a/c wasn’t working so we switched cars - the a/c was fine in the second one but the sliding door stopped functioning - the vans rattled a lot too - the company might be well advised to service their cars better or invest in new ones! Just a great way to see Tuscany - would highly recommend it - am sure the experience varies by driver/guide and by location visited - for us both were outstanding!
