Have you ever heard about a little piece of paradise called the Cinque Terre? If you look for the Cinque Terre on map you will be able to locate them going a little further north from Tuscany. Cinque Terre towns are located between Genova and La Spezia.
For many reasons, a DIY trip won't get you there comfortably. This unique landscape, perched on steep cliffs overlooking the sea, is not so easy to reach.
Firstly, we are within a natural park (Cinque Terre National Park).
The roads are winding, with speed limits and strict rules. Parking for your car is limited. While there are many activities to do in the Cinque Terre, having a professional guide can help you focus on the best ones.
You will find the trails that best suit you, those that will arouse your curiosity and interest the most. You will walk along the most romantic paths or find the most breathtaking views, for a memorable experience that you will carry in your heart forever.
Ultimately, having a guide is also helpful for those arriving by train. In fact, coming alone doesn't save much. While joining a guided tour with myTour you will definitely save time and get invaluable value in terms of saved energy and avoided stress.
Our friendly staff will welcome you before setting out for a scenic trip through Tuscany. We will travel by van or minibus, crossing the northern part of Tuscany and reaching Manarola.
From here, the real exploration begins:
Manarola – The first stop is the charming village of Manarola. After arriving by van, you will have time to stroll through its colorful streets and admire spectacular coastal views.
Vernazza – From Manarola, board a train to Vernazza, one of the most picturesque villages of the Cinque Terre. Here you will find lively alleys, historic buildings, and breathtaking sea views. Explore the Doria Castle and the Church of Santa Margherita while savoring the authentic atmosphere of this medieval town.
Monterosso al Mare – Board the train again and head to Monterosso al Mare, the largest and most famous village of the Cinque Terre. Enjoy its wide beaches, perfect for a swim, or explore the Monterosso Castle and the Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista. Don't miss the Cappuccini Hill for panoramic views of lemon groves, vineyards, and olive groves.
Portovenere – From Monterosso, take a boat for a scenic ride to Portovenere, a hidden gem between the Cinque Terre and Versilia. Visit the Doria Castle, stroll along Calata Doria and explore the Church of San Pietro with its fascinating history. Don't forget to visit the Byron's Cave, where the famous poet found inspiration for his works.
La Spezia – From Portovenere, take the boat to La Spezia, and then enjoy the relaxing van journey back to Florence, where you will arrive with unforgettable memories of your adventure in the Cinque Terre.
This day trip is rich in the beauty and charm of the Cinque Terre, offering you a perfect mix of sightseeing, relaxation, and exploration.

The guy was super knowledgeable of the train system and was able to make sure we got to see all the cities, even though the trains were not running on the regular schedules. The ferry ride in the afternoon was amazing.
