Full Description
Sea, sun colors and traditions of the varied north-western Sicily. Three pearls of western Sicily that can be reached with just under an hour's drive.
First stop on our tour is San Vito lo Capo, where we will walk on the white sand
that has made this beach one of the most beautiful in Italy, where we will make our first bathroom stop
and a visit to the “fortress” church, cathedral of San Vito.! We will continue on to Scopello where
we will make a pass over the tonnara and the faraglioni, visit one of the smallest villages
of Italy (a bomboniera..!). Another swimming stop at the famous pebble beach of Guidaloca
before continuing along the coastal road to reach Castellammare del golfo,
where we will be able to take fabulous photographs during an unfailing panoramic stop on the entire
the gulf of Castellammare and the small fishing village! In the village we will visit the square
main square, the small harbor, with its fishing boats and nets, and the “castle by the sea” that
gave its name to this edge! Here we will be able to have lunch comfortably seated in a
restaurant located just below the castle and overlooking the characteristic
marina.
3 pearls in western Sicily that can be reached in just about an hour by car. Our first stop on the tour is San Vito lo Capo, where we stroll on the white sand that makes this beach one of the most beautiful in Italy, take our first swim, and visit the San Vito cathedral. We continue to Scopello, where we visit the tuna fishery and the sea stacks, then head to the Baglio in the high-lying village, where we taste Cunzato bread, a typical street food. Another stop at the famous pebble beach of Guidaloca, before continuing along the coastal road to reach Castellammare del Golfo, where we can take fabulous photos over the Gulf of Castellammare and the small fishing village from the panoramic road. In the village, we visit the main square, the marina with its fishing boats and nets, and the "Castle by the Sea," which gave this border its name. Here we can enjoy a leisurely lunch at a restaurant behind the castle overlooking the picturesque harbor.
