Full Description
A tour of the typical lagoon boats will immerse us in the history of a land that has much to tell, ancient battles and different people have succeeded in this stretch of coast.
Comfortably seated, we sail through the tranquil lagoon waters of the Stagnone Nature Reserve, circumnavigate the island of San Pantaleo (Mozia), now an open-air museum and a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status, and along the islands of Lunga, Schola, and Santa Maria. The Ettore Infersa salt pans mark the boundaries of this scenery, with their piles of salt and the mill standing out among the navigable canals. Salt and history have always been linked to the life of this coastal area, as demonstrated by the many typical products related to salt. In addition to salt crystals, in a unique tasting experience, you can savor chocolate flavored with salt flour, wine jellies, pistachio and almond creams, local cheeses, and wines.
