Giuseppe Verdi Lyric Tour

The tour dedicated to the places of life of Giuseppe Verdi starts from Roncole Verdi, with a visit to the birthplace of the master, the most evocative of Verdi's places, the small building also used as a posteria located on a crossroads in the center of the village, where the father ran a tavern with an annexed shop of various kinds. You’ll also visit the nearby church where Giuseppe Verdi was baptized and could play the organ as a child under the guidance of his first teacher Pietro Baistrocchi. The Verdi tour continues with the visit to Busseto village, where, a few steps from the complex of Santa Maria degli Angeli, stands the superb Villa Pallavicino, now Giuseppe Verdi National Museum. Then we’ll have a light lunch in a typical “Taverna Verdiana” with Italian typical products such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma Ham, Culatello and Lambrusco wine, off course! The tour continues with the visit of the square where are located Barezzi House (Casa Barezzi Museum), site of the first musical and emotional formation of the young Giuseppe Verdi, and Teatro Verdi.
