The Emilia-Romagna region is renowned as one of the best culinary destinations in Italy, and on this short tour of Parma, you will discover some of its most delicious specialties. First, you will reach a Parmigiano Reggiano factory where you will learn how the famous cheese is made. At the end of the tour, a tasting of three different Parmigiano Reggiano refinements with local red wine and other typical products will be offered. From here we will reach the Prosciutto di Parma factory. The guide will introduce the tour by talking briefly about the history and visiting the "cold stage," where fresh meat is processed. You will have the opportunity to see the production stages of this renowned type of cured meat. Finish your tour with a tasting of Parma ham and savor its sweetness and unique flavor.
Then we will reach a famous winery that produces white and red wine from this area. It will be possible to walk around the vineyard and then move inside the cellars, where experts will explain the winemaking bottling process. At the end of the visit there will be a tasting of three different types of white and red wines.
