Castello Sonnino, just 20 km from Florence, is a winery
perfectly preserved historical, the most representative inside
of the denomination "Chianti Montespertoli DOCG".
Innovation and tradition are the basis of the philosophy with which
we produce our award-winning wines, Vinsanto DOC and Olio.
Owned by the de Renzis Sonnino family for generations, the villa
monumental of the 16th century is part of the Italian Historic Houses
(ADSI) and the Case Della Memoria.
Inside there is an important historical archive reported
mainly in the First World War.
Since 2017, Castello Sonnino has been one of the 10 historic sites in the chosen world
from the Maison Gucci to be part of the "Gucci Places" project, as it
embodies the example of Italian culture and at the same time it is a place
emblematic and inspirational.
At Castello Sonnino, through the “Castello Sonnino International
Educational Center ”, courses are organized annually for students
foreigners abroad, on sustainability and Italian Culture, in
collaboration with various universities, in particular Canadians and the United States.
