Full Description
Discover the beauties that Mount Etna offers by visiting its magnificent landscapes and finally tasting various traditional products.
The first stop of this tour is at an altitude of 2000 m, but during the trip, as we ascend from the city, there will be brief intermediate stops at some characteristic points. The guide will provide information about the history of the volcano and the Etnean territory, and you will discover the most recent eruptions and some ancient extinct craters. From here, you can choose to continue trekking along one of the Etna Park Trails, at an altitude of 2000 meters, accompanied by our guide, or purchase the Etna high altitude option, which will allow you to reach the summit areas of the volcano (3000 m) with special vehicles and accompanied by a local alpine guide. The excursion will continue with a visit to a lava flow cave with helmets and flashlights. The final stop of this tour is a biological production company, where you can taste honey, wines, oils, and other local products.
Additional Information
This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants. Arriving 15 minutes before the tour departs is preferable, but not mandatory. However, we kindly ask customers to be at the location at the time of the tour's departure.
