Italian Beef Experience, Tuscany Meat Cooking Class in the heart of Florence

Many are the Italian meat dishes you probably know. But, when we speak about Italian beef, few are the meat varieties that are really worth it. Come with us to discover the secrets of Tuscan Chianina, whose taste is unique and unforgettable. Alongside the Piemontese, Chianina is one of the Italian most famous cattle breeds, so succulent and full of flavor, so sweet and balanced regarding the fat content.

Chianina and the secrets behind the Florentine steak

If you love Italian food and want to know how the Fiorentina steak (Florentine steak) is made, this is the cooking class you have to attend. My Tour is bringing you directly inside a restaurant professional kitchen located in the heart of Florence, at the renowned “I' Tuscani 3”, the temple of the meat. A few meters from Dante Alighieri’s house, you will have the opportunity to try your dishes inside a well-furnished kitchen and take part in a class explaining the recipes and tips to prepare a perfect Italian beef. Here, thanks to an expert chef who will explain everything about Chianina, you will have insights about the best cuts available. And you will learn how to cook perfectly the Florentine steak. Italian beef experience will begin with a glass of spumante (sparkling wine) and an entree included in the price. Every product you will taste and prepare is coming strictly from Tuscany. After the introductory explanation, you will try cooking and dressing the meat with a traditional Tuscan dip (intingolo). Then, the final part will be dedicated to the proper cutting and serving of the meat. When everything is ready, you will eat the steak you have cooked accompanied by grilled vegetables, sipping an excellent glass of Chianti Classico red wine. Everything will end with the traditional Tuscan dessert, Cantucci and Vin Santo (almond biscuits with aged sweet wine)!
