In a city that is well known for its Renaissance artwork and Medieval architecture, it is hard to imagine that there were so many other histories that surrounded the area in early times, considering Florence was then born as a Roman settlement.
This museum connects the past of Florence, Tuscany and goes beyond to display some of the marvels of ancient Egypt. It is historically suited for families with kids on a rainy day when you need something to capture their imagination. Enjoy your time exploring the past at the National Archaeological Museum of Florence!
