Your day begins in Florence, heading into the Chianti countryside with your expert multilingual tour leader. The first stop is Castellina in Chianti, where you’ll enjoy free time to explore its historic streets and charming atmosphere.
Continue to the iconic walled village of Monteriggioni, famous for its perfectly preserved medieval walls. Here you’ll visit one of the area’s renowned wine estates for a guided tasting, discovering the character of local Chianti wines.
Late morning brings you to Poggio ai Laghi for a true Tuscan highlight: a hands-on cooking class followed by lunch. All paired with local wines for an authentic countryside experience.
In the afternoon, head to the postcard-perfect town of San Gimignano, known for its medieval towers and UNESCO-listed historic center. Enjoy free time to explore at your own pace before continuing through the Tuscan hills.
Your journey continues with stops in San Quirico and the beautifully preserved hill town of Certaldo, hometown of the poet Boccaccio, where medieval architecture and panoramic views close the day on a memorable note.
