WARNING: As of April 1, 2021 the meeting point is in Via Larga dell'Ascensione, in front of the post office. • To avoid Covid-19 infection, it is MANDATORY to wear a mask for the duration of this tour. • To enter enclosed places (museums, churches, buildings, restaurants, stores, etc.) To visit the Basilica it is necessary to wear appropriate clothing (no shorts). For security reasons, suitcases, backpacks or large bags are not allowed inside the Basilica. Before the visit it is necessary to deposit them at the Ateneo San Basso (Piazza San Marco Calle San Basso). The storage service is free, but you must leave enough time. The visit to a glass factory is an optional free excursion of about 20 minutes and is not part of the tour. The visit is not considered private, but is shared with other guests who do not belong to the same group. Unfortunately, this tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues; comfortable shoes are recommended. This tour does not operate during unplanned religious observances. The tour does not run during exceptional high tides (in these cases it may be postponed to the next day, otherwise the amount will be refunded.
