You will have the opportunity to visit the ancient medieval walls of Lucca, which time ago protected the city from outside danger. The walls of Lucca are the greatest example in Europe of walls preserved completely intact in a large city, and today are the green lung of Lucca. Green lawns, fountains, benches, and tables make it an ideal place for cycling, but also for walking. From this elevated position above the city, you will have time to become familiar with the e-bike and you will have a view of the symbolic monuments of Lucca, such as the “Duomo” di San Martino, the Church of San Michele, “piazza dell Anfiteatro” and the city itself. 

After a taste of Lucca's old town and its attractions, the guide will easily lead you outside the walls, entering the surrounding countryside, among charming villages and family farms. The e-bike will help you to face a few short climbs effortlessly. 

In this territory, you will find several wineries that boast products such as DOC red wines, DOC white wines, vin santo, and a delicious DOP extra virgin olive oil, famous for its "fruity, basically sweet but pungent flavour with a bitter aftertaste". 

Our expert guide will help you understand the complexity of the “vineyard” ecosystem and its low environmental impact agriculture. The visit will continue in the cellar and in the vineyards with the wine tasting combined with typical local products such as bruschetta, meats, cheeses, and olive oil, typical Tuscan products!
