Full Description

Let's enjoy this full day tour, on a 9 seats comfortable van, with conditioning air system and a professional driver who share all his love for the Apulian territory.

Departure from Lecce, the first stop is Polignano a Mare, the town of Puglia, which has a great charm for its uniqueness, with the cliffs that overlook the sea, the historic center that "tells" the civilizations that have inhabited these places and the food and wine of the area. The tour continues for Alberobello, one of the Italian sites included by UNESCO in the World Heritage List and the capital of the Trulli. The historical center is in fact made up entirely of these particular pyramid-shaped buildings that make it unique in the world. The next stop is Locorotondo, in the circuit of the most beautiful ancient villages of Italy, with its flowered balconies. Continue to Ostuni, also known as the White City, due to its quaint old town that was once entirely painted with white lime. The return to Lecce is scheduled around 18:30.

Valle d'Itria - the beautiful villages of Puglia were an absolute delight to visit. These included Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Locorotondo and Ostuni, which were all delightful. In the morning, our driver picked us up from a designated meeting point close to our accommodation. There were five people on the tour. The driver always dropped us off extremely close to the historical centres or Sassi allowing us time to visit each location, with explicit times to return to our drop off point at each town. It was a full and enjoyable day. My only concern was that the van did not have enough seat belts for everyone, which would need to be corrected from a safety point of view. Otherwise, I highly recommend this tour of the beautiful villages of Puglia.
