Full Description

Learn to cook like an Italian at a 4-hour cooking class, and enjoy a Tuscan meal in the stunning Chianti area. With your chef learn tips and techniques to make an Italian meal that you can recreate at home.

The Traditions of Tuscany are strongly linked to its flavors and cuisine. We offer our guests cooking classes in the typical Tuscan style, to help them discover our roots and culture in a funny and original way. Once you meet with your tour escort, you will be comfortably escorted to the cooking location, right in the heart of the stunning Chianti area. Here you will finally meet with a local chef, and thanks to him learn about the secrets of our cooking, the basic ingredients of our tradition, and the magical way in which we combine them. From bruschetta to homemade Italian pasta to the myriad of crostini, you will bring home a bit of “Tuscanness” to your dinner table. Learn to make this delicious food and then take home what you learned and show it off to your friends and family. Fall in love with Tuscany through its food.

Eat and drink Tuscany! From the moment we walked into the quaint little farmhouse, we just knew it would be a great experience. Our chef Simone did not disappoint. He took his time walking us through the recipes and explaining each step im detail. We made raviolis (which by the way, the dough recipe can be used for lasagna, spaghetti, tortellini, etc) and tiramisu. Also enjoyed bruschetta and plenty of wine. When I come back to Italy, I will deformed take Simone’s cooking class again to learn more of his authentic cooking techniques

Simona was a great teacher. Funny, witty, knowledgeable and passionate about Siena and Tuscany. The meal was then enjoyed with wine and great company in front of a wood burning oven in an old barn, on a property surrounded by vineyards. My takeaway knowledge of the pasta making process and Simona's many tips, passed down by his grandma!
