Your route is the Via Appia (Appia Antica), one of the most important city gateways of the Roman Empire. Start this fantastic tour by riding along the Tiber cycle path towards the Roman countryside. Follow your local guide and discover landmarks such as the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella, Quo Vadis and cycle through the Appia Antica Regional Park full of well-preserved Roman tombs and burial mounds. 

Continue your itinerary through the ancient aqueducts of Rome in the Aqueduct Park. This tour will give you an insight into the history and culture of one of the eternal cities.

• How to reach us: 660 from the Metro A "Arco di Travertino" stop Appia Antica park to the last stop in front of the bar. • The length of the tour is 17 kilometers (10 miles), 60% of which is off-road. The level is easy but it requires a minimum of cycling experience (intermediate with a child seat or child extension). • Around 100% of this tour takes place in the Appian Way Regional Park. The tour runs on carefully chosen streets, but some traffic is unavoidable to connect the Appian Way to the Aqueducts Park. • Infants up to 20kg travelling on a child seat, come on the tour free of charge. • Children from 140 cm and above can independently ride an E-bike. • Not recommended for pregnant travellers.
