The viticulture of this region has its origins at the time of the Etruscans and the ancient people of the Umbrians, who exploited the excellent predisposition of the soil to agriculture, and the advantageous climatic conditions to grape vine cultivation. Umbria has about 13,000 hectares of vineyards, where the quality of production and the wealth of very prestigious native varieties is combined with environmental sustainability.
This is a tour for wine lovers who want to taste the features of natural and authentic wines, while trying local fare and enjoying the Umbrian countryside. On your guided tour of this organic winery, you'll get an inside look at the full production cycle, from vineyards to bottle. Then, you'll taste the different wines, each paired with hot bruschetta, a selection of typical Norcia salami and local cheeses.
