Full Description
Visit the Eremo delle Carceri and reach the summit of Mount Subasio, having a picnic with typical craft products and admiring the splendid panorama that Umbria offers!
You will start with the guide from Assisi and you will walk for a journey of about 10 km which covers a drop of about 800 meters. On the slopes of Mount Subasio, the famous Eremo delle Carceri is located: you will have the opportunity to visit the place where San Francesco retired in prayer with his followers. Continuing on this path, you will then reach the summit of Mount Subasio. Subsequently, you will relax thanks to a picnic enjoying a delicious basket with typical products surrounded by the splendid Umbrian landscapes.
