Full Description
Discover Pompeii and Sorrento in one day from Rome. Explore ancient ruins with a local guide, enjoy an authentic Italian lunch, and savor Limoncello by the sea.
Hop aboard our tour and let yourself be carried away on a journey through history, flavors, and sea. In just one day, discover two icons of Italy: ancient Pompeii and beautiful Sorrento.
From Rome, you will travel in comfort aboard a modern and air-conditioned coach, crossing the Italian countryside while the silhouette of Mount Vesuvius appears in the background.
Your first stop is Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most fascinating places in the world. With the guidance of a local expert, you will embark on a true journey through time: walk among perfectly preserved Roman streets, admire temples, villas, theaters, and mosaics that have remained intact since 79 AD. Every stone tells a story, and your guide will bring to life the daily life of the ancient Romans up to the day of Vesuvius's eruption.
After the visit, treat yourself to a well-deserved traditional lunch at a local restaurant: authentic dishes prepared with fresh and genuine ingredients, just as Campanian cuisine demands.
The journey continues to Sorrento, the jewel of the Coast. Stroll among lemon-scented alleys, artisan shops, and panoramic terraces overlooking the turquoise sea. Discover the secrets of the famous Limoncello production and toast with us with a sip of southern sunshine.
At the end of the day, relax on the return journey to Rome, with the beauty of the coast in your eyes and the thrill of having experienced the true Italy in your heart.
Additional Information
Bring your passport or an identity document to enter Pompeii. Children must also show it. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes for walking. Please note that during the summer period the itinerary might be reversed: you will visit Sorrento first and then Pompeii. This change is made to ensure a more comfortable experience during the high season.
