What does the Medieval Aosta Valley tour include?

You are welcome to join us on an exciting journey through space and time. Aosta Valley is offering medieval castles that characterize its landscape. Booking this private tour you will be comfortably brought by an expert English-speaking driver, who will let you save time and energies. At lunchtime, our driver will bring you to a valdostana farmhouse where you’ll be served a typical meal with all the drinks included.
 
During the ride you will start to hear about the main historical details of each castle, then you’ll be left directly at the entrance of the castles. All the tickets are included in the tour price, then you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour in Italian or simply visit each building by yourself reading the free maps, the guides and information given. The tour will bring you to for of the most famous castles in the Aosta Valley: Sarre - Fenis - Verres - Issogne.

Those fortresses are located in strategic positions along the main communication roads. That is why it will be interesting to look at their disposition. According to a brilliant defensive method they were all linked, to keep them constantly in communication.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations can be made without applying penalties within 2 days before departure of services. 100% penalty is required for cancellations communicated starting 48 hours before the date of departure of the booked service for the "no shows". The guided tour is in Italian, it is available also in English or French on request. You can request it at the time of booking. An extra charge is needed. • Participant Requirements: Bring a mask with you and wear it during all the activity. All participants +12 years old must present one of the following documents: a complete vaccination certificate; certificate attesting to the administration of the first dose of the vaccine, which took place at least 15 days prior to the activity; a confirmation of the healing from Covid-19 within the last 6 months; the negative result of a swab performed no more than 48 hours before the activity. We remind you that in the absence of these documents it will not be possible to participate in the activity and no refund will be made.
