Full Description
Set off on a wonderful adventure to discover the Fortress of Bard, a symbol of the House of Savoy, whose origins date back to the 19th century but presents typical features of medieval architecture. To reach the architectural complex, you will tool your way along an evocative route, between panoramic glass elevators, arriving at the Piazza d'Armi, a spacious quadrangular courtyard surrounded by a wide portico.
In the company of our certified museum guide, you will explore the Monumental Complex, also having the opportunity to access its exhibition spaces.
Enjoy a typical Valle d'Aosta lunch of platter of cold cuts, first or second course of your choice and a final dessert, in a prestigious local restaurant with a cozy atmosphere.
After lunch, you will stroll along the central street of the Borgo, through its alleys, humpback bridges, and historic buildings that bear and still bear witness to its past.
