Discover Genoa, a city with a glorious past! Spend your morning in the Birthplace of Christopher Columbus which today is one of the most charming cities in Northern Italy. Finish your day in Portofino, the pearl of the Ligurian sea with its quintessential feel and crystalline green waters.

Genoa, the largest medieval city in Europe, has retained the charm of the ancient maritime republic. The Old Port, renovated in 1992 by architect Renzo Piano, and the maze of narrow alleys in the historic center are just two of the numerous attractions of this city. Upon arrival in the center of Genoa, a professional tour guide will show you the heart of the city during an inspiring tour. After the lunch break, you will visit the colorful village of Santa Margherita Ligure on the Gulf of Tigullio, nicknamed the "Gulf of Dolphins" for the large schools of dolphins frequently spotted there. Here you will take a boat for a mini cruise to the charming fishing village of Portofino, a crescent-shaped village on the sea, whose beauty has been described over the millennia by writers and poets such as Guy de Maupassant. The trip ends with the return by ship to Santa Margherita, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to Milan.
