Where is Bari?

In the Puglia region of southern Italy, on the heel of the Adriatic Sea coastline, Bari is a thriving regional capital as well as the province's administrative center.

Bari has many shops (local mom-and-pop stores as well as high-end designer items), museums, theaters, universities, a train and bus hub from which to explore locations north, south, and inland, an airport, and a cruise terminal, making it appealing to both tourists and retirees.

There are four distinct seasons, as is common for the Mediterranean. Rarely is winter as freezing and rainy than it is. With an abundance of blossoming plants or the harvest of olives, grapes, and chestnuts, spring and fall are the ideal seasons for wearing a shirt with long sleeves. Due to its location near the sea, summers can be particularly hot and humid.
