What Islands Are Near Cinque Terre?

Cinque Terre is, of course, best known for all five towns. However, in addition to Manarola, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Monterosso and Vernazza, there are three small islands: Palmaria, Tino and Tinette. 

These three islands are not visited by tourists. If you choose to do so, you will be greeted by green nature, the blue sea, and very few people! These islands are off the coast of a nearby town called Portovenere, known for its luxurious resorts and beautiful and colorful homes. The islands can be seen from the coast of Portovenere. However, the easiest way to reach them is by ferry  from Riomaggiore.
