Are The Vatican Museums Air Conditioned?

The Vatican Museums have very little air conditioning because of architectural limitations and stringent rules to protect the museum's artwork. During the warmer months, there are numerous windows that are left open to provide a breeze inside, as well as some portable air conditioners. The tapestry rooms, the book store, and the booking office are all permanently air conditioned.
