Departure from Trieste and arrival in Gorizia, a border town with a Habsburg atmosphere, where you can breathe the history of the Great War and the Cold War. Visit the historic center. Continue to Cividale del Friuli, perched on the banks of the Natisone river and enriched and marked by the passage of the Longobards and the Franks is one of the most beautiful villages in Friuli. Free walk. The Longobard Temple and the monastery of Saint Maria in Valle are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Follow the evocative streets of the city center, passing by the imposing fortification walls that enclose the majestic city gates, to explore the Celtic Hypogeum, admire the Church and contemplate the Natisone from the Devil’s Bridge.
