  This was a great trip. We were incredibly fortunate to be in Siena during the Palio. The matching and flag show from the different contrade was spectacular and one to remember. The show happens twice a year, on the 2nd of June and the 16th of June. Since it rained on the 2nd, the show was moved to the 3rd, which was the day of our tour. The wine tasting was fantastic, and the vinegars were excellent. San Gimignano is truly beautiful, but the hour we spent there flew by. I recommend planning well to explore more of this place. The leather bags there are also better priced than in Florence, so I recommend buying them there.
